When to use: always as the first point of the route
B – VIA

When to use: to lead the route through specific locations (junctions, intersections)
Tip: in problematic areas, add multiple VIA points closely before/after the issue
C – FINISH
What it does: sets the end of the route
When to use: as the last point
D – WAYPOINT
What it does: adds a note to the map (CP / STOP / POI, etc.), does not affect routing

E – Undo
What it does: reverts the last action (e.g. the last placed point)

When to use: when you want to start from scratch
G – Terrain profile (Asphalt / Adventure / Offroad / Offroad+)
What it does: defines the “routing style”
When to use:
Asphalt = paved roads
Adventure = mixed surface
Offroad = dirt / forest roads
Offroad+ = more aggressive off-road routing
H – Avoid highways
What it does: prevents routing on highways (if an alternative exists)
When to use: almost always for roadbooks / motorcycle trips
I – Free route
What it does: allows bridging a section outside routing data (typically where “the trail ends”)
When to use: when the system refuses to route through a place that exists in reality but is missing from map data
J – Tulips (symbol selection)
What it does: selects a symbol / tulip for markers (used together with WAYPOINT)
When to use: for CPs, STOPs, hazards, and other roadbook markings

P – Open (concept)
What it does: opens the concept in the map for editing

What it does: generates a GPX file from the concept
When to use: when you want to save the route as a final GPX and prepare it for roadbook creation
R – Delete (concept)
What it does: permanently deletes the concept
S – Save
What it does: manually saves the current state of the concept
Recommendation: use after major edits or before closing the window
Legend (T–Z)
T – Final GPX routes (count / limit)
What it is: stored completed routes ready to be sent for roadbook creation
U – Edit (final GPX file)
What it does: creates a copy of the final GPX route and saves it as a concept for further editing
V – Roadbook
What it does: sends the final GPX with waypoints to the server, where the roadbook is generated and emailed to the user
W – Delete
What it does: permanently deletes the GPX file
X – Route VIA points
What it does: displays individual VIA points of the route
Y – Dropdown field
What it does: allows changing the terrain profile of a specific VIA point
