A navigation cockpit for your tablet or mobile device. Home app, live group map, weather, radar, ride logging, and quick controls.

RaYama Home is an application designed for motorcycle trips both on and off-road, for use on Android tablets or smartphones. It runs in landscape mode and works as a clear and practical “cockpit”: providing quick access to apps, group features, weather, music, ride logs, and more.

Group features and login are linked to the RaYama Roadbook Reader (verification and synchronization via pairing).

Main Features

1) Tablet Home App (Launcher)

RaYama Home can function as a home app (Home/Launcher) with large tiles.

• “Apps” screen (and optional custom pages) for quick access to selected applications

2) Groups: Create / Join / Manage

• Create a group with selectable duration: 24 hours / 7 days / 30 days
• Join a group via QR code or manually
• Saved groups with the option to activate a selected group
• Display of group role (leader / member) and expiration date

Group sharing via QR code:

• Display group QR code for other riders
• Scan QR code to join a group

3) Location Sharing in Groups

Runs in the background as a foreground service (status notification visible)

Adjustable location update interval:

• 2 s (higher accuracy)
• 5 s (default)
• 10 s (battery saving)

4) Live Group Map

• Real-time map with positions of group members
• Automatic refresh based on selected interval
• Display of group name and number of members

5) Group Messaging

• “Messages” screen for group communication
• Quick messages (predefined texts) with management in settings
• Custom messages (manual sending)

6) Weather + Rain Radar

Weather:

• Location search by text (city/area)
• GPS-based location detection
• Current weather + 5-day forecast (Today, Tomorrow, +2…+4)

Radar:

• Rain radar
• Animated radar view

7) Speed Camera Alerts

• Offline speed camera alerts while riding
• Real-time visual warnings when approaching a camera
• Support for fixed, mobile, and average speed cameras

8) Ride Logging (Ride Logs)

• GPS-based ride recording
• Save routes with custom names

Statistics:

• speed, distance, average/max speed, time
• Manage saved rides: rename / delete
• Share GPX (e.g. send to another app)
• Send to RaYama web planner for further editing on PC

9) Points of Interest (Waypoints)

• Add a point from current GPS location
• Save waypoint name
• Rename / delete
• Share location + copy coordinates

10) Music

• Launches the default music app.

11) Group: Shared Expenses

Track shared costs and payments during your motorcycle trips.
At the end, the app automatically calculates the balance and sends each member their summary by email.

In your profile, enter your bank account number.
The final summary includes a QR code for easy payment.

Integration with RaYama Roadbook Reader

RaYama Home is designed to work seamlessly with the RaYama Roadbook Reader app:

• Pairing is done after opening the Reader app
• Group features are shared via Roadbook Reader
• One web account, one pairing

Requirements & Permissions

• Android device (tablet or smartphone), app runs in landscape mode

Location permission is required for:

• live map
• location sharing
• ride logging
• visual speed camera alerts during riding
• Runs in the background as a foreground service (status shown in notification)
• Maps and radar use online map data (internet connection required)
